Guatemala is well known for its rich colonial history and beautiful attractions, but is also filled with need. Kids for the Kingdomโs teams minister in an area known as the โRatโs nestโ by locals because of the crime and hardship faced by the people living there. Pastor Alvaro, Kids for the Kingdomโs national director in Guatemala ministers to the poor and downtrodden of the neighborhood with a school, practical job skills training, a feeding program, Bible clubs at his church which overlooks the โRatโs nestโ. His vision is to transform his local area and his country for Christ.โ
