“During the civil war a guerilla soldier told me about the Savior of the world. I believed that and Jesus changed my life.” - Carlos and Maribel de la Rosa
Our team in El Salvador organizes Bible Clubs for local children in their church neighborhood.
Many young people in El Salvador are recruited into gangs and have their lives destroyed by violence. Our teams work with local communities to create alternative Bible-based activities to keep the children out of gangs.
Carlos and Maribel de la Rosa are Kids for the Kingdom’s National Directors in El Salvador. Carlos and Maribel De La Rosa have been married 15 years and have two children. Early in their marriage their jobs took them to the capital city OF San Salvador. After several years Carlos began a small church and eventually started an outreach to street children. Both are trained educators. Maribel works as a psychologist at the Department of Education. Carlos pastors ‘Iglesia Familiar Cristiana Dios tu Sanador’ (Church of Christian Family of God your Healer) and directs the ministry for Children and Youth in the neighborhood. Carlos and Maribel have recently purchased property for their new ministry center and are planning many new activities and outreaches for local children and families.
