Meet Shahzad and Irum Fateh, our dedicated National Directors in Sri Lanka. Originally from Pakistan, Shahzad and Irum faced discrimination and persecution as Christians in their home country. Yet, they remained steadfast in their faith, determined to serve children and families in need. After being forced to flee Pakistan, they sought refuge in Sri Lanka, where they have continued their mission to share Godโs love and bring hope to fellow refugees. Despite the challenges, Shahzad and Irum hold onto their vision to transform lives through the Gospel and practical support.
Shahzad and Irum’s ministry in Sri Lanka is a testament to their resilience and unwavering faith. They continue to share the Gospel message, offer humanitarian relief, and provide opportunities for refugees to rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose. Through Kids for the Kingdom, Shahzad and Irum focus on:
Community Outreach
Our team reaches out to Pakistani refugees in Sri Lanka, providing essential aid and support. Through their efforts, they help families adjust to their new circumstances while offering the hope of Christ to those who have faced hardship and loss.
Vocational Training
In 2020, Shahzad and Irum launched a sewing vocational program, providing refugees with valuable skills to earn a living in their new home. This initiative helps empower individuals to build a more stable and self-sufficient future for themselves and their families.
